Yates Easy Patch Lawn Repair

Whether the dog has left decorative patches, the kids have decided to dig a trench or the grass is just not growing in some spots, Yates Easy Patch is a super easy 4-in-1 solution which has all the ingredients needed to repair bare lawn patches.
Simply apply Yates easy Patch Lawn Repair, water in and watch your bare patch disappear to thick, strong, long lasting grass!

The unique 4 in 1 blend features:
Fast germinating, hardy, drought tolerant lawn seed mix.
Professional grade fertiliser providing controlled feeding for up to 12 weeks.
Premium wetting agent to assist water penetration through compacted bare patches to promote grass root establishment.
Coir (coconut fibre) that provides an instant seed bed for quick seed germination.
In addition, its water retention properties hold moisture close to the seed, improving grass establishment.

When To Use?
For best results apply in early autumn or spring to allow development of a deep root system prior to summer or winter. Spring application will require more regular watering throughout the first summer.

Where To Use?
Yates Easy Patch Lawn Repair is an all purpose blend that can be used on bare patches in common lawns under all conditions – sun, shade or even worn high traffic areas.

Coverage
Yates Easy Patch Lawn Repair will cover 40 patches.
(Approximate patch size is 15 cm x 15 cm).

How To Repair a Patch
Remove dead grass and loosen soil.
Shake container well. Spread an even layer of Yates Easy Patch Lawn Repair over bare spots or worn areas. Layer should be approximately 3 mm in depth.
Water in thoroughly until patch turns dark brown, then water daily or whenever the patch changes to a light brown colour. Patch should be kept damp at all times and may require watering several times a day in hot and windy conditions.

Handy Hints
The new patch once established should be first mown when it reaches 10 cm in height and then gradually reduced to 5 cm (never mow more than one third of grass height at a time).
Avoid traffic on the patch until grass is well established.
When fertilising be careful to use a fertiliser suitable for new lawns during the first 3 months such as Scotts Lawn Bulilder: New Lawns and Repair.
