Vigorous growing, spreading tree that produces a mass of large pyriform-shaped figs with a yellow neck, brown to purple skin and red flesh. Usually bears fruit in 3-5 years. Main crop ripens from early to mid march.

Full sun. Prefers free-draining soil rich in organic matter.
Mix in compost and sheep pellets when planting. In heavier soils add gypsum and if necessary plant into a slight mound.
Prune in winter for shape and to keep plant open.
