Use - Fresh, in desserts and for making jam.
Planting - Plant in rich well-drained soil (slightly acidic preferred) & high in organic matter. Plant in garden bed in the full sun or decorate your patio or deck.
Care - Allow canes to grow the first season and in winter these will go dormant. In spring these canes will branch and flower then fruit in summer. Cut out any dead canes with no new growth at ground level. Apply mulch in spring to maintain moisture over summer.
Pollination- Self-fertile. Insect pollinated.
Harvest- In summer when fruit is in full colour and is easily removed.
