Online Delivery Charges

In order to better align our delivery charges for online orders with our actual costs, from Feb 1 2019 we are going to update these charges, along with the threshold for Free Delivery.

We will also be amending the regions that charges apply to in order to simplify things for our customers.

To this effect, from February 1 2019 the new shipping rates will be as follows -

The area will be defined by your postcode, which you can enter in the checkout pages to confirm your proposed shipping costs before confirming your order.

 

 

The threshold for Free Delivery will increase to $150 (from $100) and apply to the Auckland Region only (within the yellow area on the map) at the same time – everywhere else will pay Standard delivery charges, as above.

  • Free Delivery on all orders over $100 to New Zealand North Island, South Island and Waiheke.
  • Orders to the Chatham Islands, Great Barrier Island and Stewart Island are possible by arrangement only. Email info@kings.co.nz for a quote.

How long will my delivery take?

  • All orders will be picked, packaged and sent as quickly as possible.
  • Most orders are sent within 3-5 working days of being ordered, though at times due to circumstances outside of our control some items ordered may be unavailable at the time of picking. If this occurs we will inform you of delays or discuss replacement varieties/options or refund of the amount paid.
  • To avoid orders sitting over the weekend with our courier we will hold orders of plants on Friday until Monday before sending them. This is to minimize the time plants are with a courier and to help ensure our stock is of a sufficiently high quality when it arrives.
  • Please note that any orders that are still due to come in-store, will be held until complete order is available.

Returns

  • If any goods are faulty or damaged at the time of receipt Kings Plant Barn must be notified within seven days. If you fail to do this in the timeframe, you will waive the right to reject the goods.
  • We will endeavour to provide the goods in a timely manner to the address specified in your order.
  • Kings will not be liable for:
    • Delays or failure with deliveries
    • Damage or loss during unpacking
    • Damage caused after the goods are at the delivery address
  • Additional freight charges may be applicable for larger sized items. In this case Kings would contact you directly.

Exchange Policy

Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind. We are happy to exchange your goods, within 10 days, with proof of purchase, providing the goods are in their original condition.

If goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act, to provide a remedy.

If you are not able to get to a physical store then you can courier the product within 14 days to; Kings Plant Barn, Online Returns, 1 Forrest Hill Road, Forrest Hill, Auckland, 0620.

Refunds will be processed instantly instore or within 5 working days when products are couriered.
