Cluster of pink fragrant flowers appear in spring within 18 months from planting. Followed by large golden fruit which is sweet and less acidic than the red varieties. Fruits May to July. Makes a great relish.

Full sun, in a warm sheltered spot. Prefers free-draining soil rich in organic matter.
Mix in compost and sheep pellets with the soil when planting. In heavier soils improve the drainage, add gypsum and, if needed, plant into a slight mound.
Protect from frosts.
Keep plant well watered and feed regualrly with sheep pellets during spring and summer.
