Grow your own delicious and tasty strawberries. Homegrown strawberries are often tastier than the alternatives, and the plants are easy to grow. Just remember to net them as they start to ripen to help hide them from passing birds and possible children.
Two varieties are available in this size, Pajaro (slightly smaller and with a strong flavour) and Camerosa (large , tasty and juicy). Availability of each variety can vart from time to time but specify any preferences in your delivery instructions.
Full sun. Prefers free-draining rich in organic matter.

When planting in garden beds, weed and aerate the soil, then mix in compost and sheep pellets.
Mound the bed into rows, and plant in the centre of the row leaving 30cm between each plant.
