each "seed" is a cluster of 1-4 true seeds in a corky outer coating. Soak for two hours before sowing to ensure water penetrates to seeds. Sow in trays of yates seed raising mix. Separate clustered seedlings and transplant after germination.
transplant when 3-5cm tall into a sunny, well-drained position. Incorporate compost, dynamic lifter organic plant food or yates blood and bone into soil before planting. Pick young leaves and add to salad mixes. Make successive sowings every few weeks. Water at base of plant to reduce risk of disease.
