raise in trays of yates seed raising mix. Lightly cover with mix, firm down and keep moist. Transplant when 3-4cm high.
grows best in rich well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered position. Apply yates thrive soluble fertiliser as flower spikes begin to appear. Stake if required and remove spent blooms to encourage flowering. Protect from snails with yates blitzem.
