Prepare

Position

Syngonium like a well lit position that is not in direct sunlight.

Soil

Plant into a quality potting mix suitable for indoor plants like Kings House Plant Mix.

Plant

Repot when the roots have started to grow from the bottom of the pot. Pot into a pot 2 times larger and plant into Kings House Plant Mix. Water in well once planted

Care

Watering

Water well and allow to drain, never let the pot sit in any water as this may cause the plant to rot. Allow the top 5 cm of soil to dry out before watering again.

Feeding

For healthy active growing plants feed with Kings House Plant liquid food monthly through spring, summer and autumn.

Protecting

Mealy Bug can sometimes infect Syngoniums, early intervention is key here, so check regularly under the leaves and in any nooks and crannies for white fluffy Mealy Bug.

Spraying

Should spraying be needed spray with Groventive Garden or for an Organic option spray with EnSpray99 oil.

Pruning

Prune to maintain shape and to remove any brown growth.

General Care

When using sprays, chemicals or fertilisers always read the label and follow the instructions. Apply sprays in the evening to avoid harming beneficial insects.

Beginner Tip

Syngoinums like to climb and have something to cling to. Coco fibre poles are ideal for this.

Expert Tip

Syngoniums like some humidity, misting daily is beneficial. Signs of low humidity is brown edge son the leaves.
