Spring Plants We're Loving

05 Sep, 2025

As the days lengthen and the air warms, gardens are coming to life with the vibrant hues and fragrances of spring. Here are some of our spring favourites!

Raspberries

There’s something magical about picking raspberries fresh from the vine - sweet, sun-kissed, and bursting with flavour. These fruitful canes bring colour and nostalgia to the garden, with varieties in red, gold, and even deep purple.

Dianthus

With its frilly-edged petals, this little plant has a big personality! Despite their dainty appearance, they are tough and reliable, blooming from spring through to summer in a variety of beautiful shades.

Basil

No herb garden is complete without basil. Its lush green leaves and bold aroma are kitchen staples, thriving in sunny garden beds, containers, or window sills. Beyond its culinary uses, basil also attracts pollinating insects and adds leafy vibrancy wherever it's planted

Star Jasmine

With its delicate white blooms and sweet lingering fragrance star jasmine is a remarkably strong climber or ground cover! A spring-to-summer showstopper, this evergreen beauty is ideal for adding a romantic touch to your garden.

Hydrangeas

Hydrangeas never go out of style. With lush flowers ranging from powdery blue to vibrant pinks, these shrubs are both eye-catching and easygoing. They bloom from late spring through to summer, adding timeless, cottage-garden charm.

Passionfruit

If you're dreaming of lush, tropical vibes, passionfruit is your answer. Its
striking purple-and-white flowers are conversation starters, while the
vigorous vines quickly cover trellises, fences, and arbors. Come late
summer, you’ll be rewarded with sweet, tangy fruit!
